Danny,

The 2011 Festival by the Bay presented by the Port Ludlow Festival Association was a total success.  A great deal of credit to this overall success was the skill and professionalism demonstrated by Danny and his team from DEF Productions in the support of our musical program.    The Festival Board was very impressed by Danny’s attention to detail, remaining on site for the 3 day event, smoothly handling a concert stage and center stage venue.  However, true testimony to Danny’s ability was in the feedback we got from all of the musical performers.  To say they were all delighted is an understatement.  There was no hesitation by the Festival Board in booking Danny and DEF Productions for the 2012 festival.  In fact, we think so highly of Danny that we asked him and he agreed to be part of our team as we prepare for the 2012 Festival.

Subject: Hi Danny,

Again, thanks for the excellent sound at this year’s Beyond the Borders Festival. The fact that each performing group specifically acknowledged your talents from the stage should make you happy. And I heard absolutely no complaints from the audience – a rare thing in my experience!

I was very pleased with the changeovers, which were all accomplished smoothly within the 30 minute time allotment, even allowing for some rather picky requests from a few musicians regarding their monitor mixes. The different styles and needs of each band were handled by you with ease. We started on time, and finished on schedule. All in all, job well done!

And a special thanks for helping sort out some of the electrical issues in the old building. Maybe next year, for the first time, we will actually be able to plug in and go.

We will be debriefing with both the sponsoring organizations in the next few weeks and deciding if we continue with the festival. I see no reason that there will not be a 4th Festival, unless I have to carry the same load next year. I’ve got to delegate more, but the issue always is finding reliable people to help out.

Anyway, I’ll keep in touch, and keep in mind the first Saturday in August next year.

Danny:

I just wanted to let you know that everyone in our entire band agrees that the balance and tone that you guys generated for us a few months ago at the Poulsbo waterefront was as good as it gets.

We played over 40 times last year, and we had all sorts of experiences with sound engineers, mostly good, a few bad.  However, all summer long, nobody was able to dial us in so quickly and expertly as you and your crew.

I’d recommend your company unequivocally to any musician or event producer!

Dear Danny,

We would like to thank you and your crew for their superior efforts and performance at the Bremerton & Central Kitsap Relay For Life on June 23rd and 24th, 2007.  You were able to provide a sound system that could heard from end to end of the Central Kitsap High School Track and were able to accommodate a wide variety of on and off stage performers.  Without your assistance and suggestions, our event would not have been the success it was.  Your flexibility, hard work, and wiliness to do what ever was needed are truly appreciated.

It was awe inspiring to watch you work in setting up the different sound equipment for various performers.  You were able to make the transitions from single vocalists, choirs, speakers, to a full 12 piece swing band smoothly and quickly.

For 24 hours, you maintained the same level of professional attention and diligence to provide the Relay participants with the best sound they have experienced in our ten year association with the Relay For life events.  Even when the weather began to turn against us, you and your crew did not waiver.

Once again, thank you for an outstanding job and we will see you next year!

RE: Audio engineering for Auction

Danny,

Thank you for your expertise in implementing a great sound system for our 2006 fundraising event.  As we discussed, having attendees in a full and noisy room actually hear what is happening on the stage is critical to the success of our auction.

This is the first year that we had a coordinated plan for audio and it worked out great!  Everyone could hear the auction despite the background noise and we had one of our most successful fundraisers in club history.

Dear Danny,

The 54th Annual National Day of Prayer Service was an outstanding opportunity for Kitsap County to come together in unity to pray for our community, state nation and world as well as worship our Lord.  1047 people attended representing through over 35 churches.  200 volunteers from within our county gave of their time and talents to make this event a gigantic success.  The overwhelming endorsement of pastors and the encouragement given to their people was instrumental in the significant numbers that attended.  The event allowed for diversity yet brought unity to the Body of Christ and glory to God.

The NDP would not have been the same without the knowledge and expertise that you displayed in your field of service.  Only an expert could have covered up for faulty equipment the way that you did.  Please accept our deepest thanks and appreciation for being so generous with your time, treasure and talents!  The NDP Service was greatly enhanced by your efforts to amplify the sound of so many.  You were a treasure to work with and a blessing to get to know.

The past two years has been extraordinary as our community has combined its resources to give the NDP a place in our county’s history.  More volunteers and lay people than ever before came together as a team to serve this community through the NDP.  More technical expertise than ever before gave of their service.  More unified worship than ever before came together to compliment the prayers we made on behalf of our community, state, nation and world.  More people than ever before gathered together on May 5th to celebrate our right to assemble and pray.  Our team looks forward to serving with you in an even greater capacity in the coming year.  If you would like to be part of the NDP May 4th, 2006 please call Abundant Life Foursquare Church.

Dear Mr. Fritts,

Thank you for donating your time and sound system to the 2005 YWCA Charity Putt-Putt event.  We were able to raise over three thousand dollars for the Alive Shelter program and you played an important part to that success.

This has been the fourth year we have conducted this event for charity.  In previous years we have borrowed sound systems from others, which we had to set up and operate ourselves.  It was a real treat having your professional services create a fun atmosphere for all who participated.
