Poulsbo Fishline Letter Head 2014

June 15, 2014

DEF Productions
c/o Danny Fritts
P.O. Box 2133
Poulsbo, WA 98370

Dear Danny,

On behalf of North Kitsap Fishline and its Board of Directors, I wish to thank you most profoundly for your contribution of consultation and expertise with our new sound system and for contributing sound equipment for our recent grand opening celebration.  Every day we hear music, we can thank you, and our grand opening became a party when your sound system kicked in!

The combination of a wonderful assortment of local food, the beautiful day, the great turnout, the super sound system and the presentations helped create a wonderfully memorable day.  Such a monumental moment in a long history of service and community contribution deserved the kind of day it turned out to be, and we thank you for being a part of it.  It was very gratifying to watch out neighbors tour the facility and learn more about the work Fishline does, thanks to the kindness and caring of its home town.

We are now ready to embrace the next 47 years, knowing that we can call this new facility home for a very long time.  Thank you for your support and for your contribution.

LinkedIn Recommendations

Sean Wescott has recommended your work as Owner at DEF Productions.

Dear Danny,

I’ve written this recommendation of your work to share with other LinkedIn users.

Details of the Recommendation:

“I witnessed firsthand the finesse of Danny Fritts abilities at the Rock -n- Blues concert at Port Gamble Highlands in 2011. From well before the beginning of the show until well after the end, Danny was on site taking care of logistics as well as managing the sound crew.

As far as I am concerned, that show is one of the best concerts I have ever attended in my life. The lineup was superb and the arrangement of the bands was perfect. The sound was so well done I could hear the music clearly from my house in Port Gamble a mile away – through the trees!

That was an epic show with rock star written all over it. As if the superb sound and headliner line up were not enough, the climax for many of us was being recorded by a helicopter chartered to fly in low and make a video of the concert.

I have also worked with Danny in developing a proposal for a show, and I can tell you his knowledge of concert production is thorough so much that I had no worries at all about what we needed, all I had to do was ask Danny and he was on top of it.

He comes with my top recommendation for concert production, and I would employ his services in a heartbeat for the next concert.

Danny,

The 2011 Festival by the Bay presented by the Port Ludlow Festival Association was a total success.  A great deal of credit to this overall success was the skill and professionalism demonstrated by Danny and his team from DEF Productions in the support of our musical program.    The Festival Board was very impressed by Danny’s attention to detail, remaining on site for the 3 day event, smoothly handling a concert stage and center stage venue.  However, true testimony to Danny’s ability was in the feedback we got from all of the musical performers.  To say they were all delighted is an understatement.  There was no hesitation by the Festival Board in booking Danny and DEF Productions for the 2012 festival.  In fact, we think so highly of Danny that we asked him and he agreed to be part of our team as we prepare for the 2012 Festival.

Thanks,

Gene Carmody

Subject: Hi Danny,

Again, thanks for the excellent sound at this year’s Beyond the Borders Festival. The fact that each performing group specifically acknowledged your talents from the stage should make you happy. And I heard absolutely no complaints from the audience – a rare thing in my experience!

I was very pleased with the changeovers, which were all accomplished smoothly within the 30 minute time allotment, even allowing for some rather picky requests from a few musicians regarding their monitor mixes. The different styles and needs of each band were handled by you with ease. We started on time, and finished on schedule. All in all, job well done!

And a special thanks for helping sort out some of the electrical issues in the old building. Maybe next year, for the first time, we will actually be able to plug in and go.

We will be debriefing with both the sponsoring organizations in the next few weeks and deciding if we continue with the festival. I see no reason that there will not be a 4th Festival, unless I have to carry the same load next year. I’ve got to delegate more, but the issue always is finding reliable people to help out.

Anyway, I’ll keep in touch, and keep in mind the first Saturday in August next year.

Danny:

I just wanted to let you know that everyone in our entire band agrees that the balance and tone that you guys generated for us a few months ago at the Poulsbo waterefront was as good as it gets.

We played over 40 times last year, and we had all sorts of experiences with sound engineers, mostly good, a few bad.  However, all summer long, nobody was able to dial us in so quickly and expertly as you and your crew.

I’d recommend your company unequivocally to any musician or event producer!

To Whom It May Concern:

The Key Peninsula Community Fair has utilized the “sound services” of DEF Production this last year-July 2007-when I was the president.   He was able to attend most of our pre-fair meetings and we found him to be of help with several suggestions—including some of the entertainment and also placement of the sound systems.

I was present several times, between acts, and saw that he worked quickly and co=operatively with the presenters.  He had the capability to be on-site at all times–this was particularly important for the protection of, not only his equipment, but also the fairs.

He seems to have a variety of systems that make it convenient to cover different sized areas.  This also is good to cut and move, if need be.

If I can be of any further assistance please feel to contact me by phone.

Thank You,

CK Relay for Life 2007 Header

Dear Danny,

We would like to thank you and your crew for their superior efforts and performance at the Bremerton & Central Kitsap Relay For Life on June 23rd and 24th, 2007.  You were able to provide a sound system that could heard from end to end of the Central Kitsap High School Track and were able to accommodate a wide variety of on and off stage performers.  Without your assistance and suggestions, our event would not have been the success it was.  Your flexibility, hard work, and wiliness to do what ever was needed are truly appreciated.

It was awe inspiring to watch you work in setting up the different sound equipment for various performers.  You were able to make the transitions from single vocalists, choirs, speakers, to a full 12 piece swing band smoothly and quickly.

For 24 hours, you maintained the same level of professional attention and diligence to provide the Relay participants with the best sound they have experienced in our ten year association with the Relay For life events.  Even when the weather began to turn against us, you and your crew did not waiver.

Once again, thank you for an outstanding job and we will see you next year!

RE: Audio engineering for Auction

Danny,

Thank you for your expertise in implementing a great sound system for our 2006 fundraising event.  As we discussed, having attendees in a full and noisy room actually hear what is happening on the stage is critical to the success of our auction.

This is the first year that we had a coordinated plan for audio and it worked out great!  Everyone could hear the auction despite the background noise and we had one of our most successful fundraisers in club history.

Thanks again for your services and we look forward to working with you again in future projects.

Sincerely,

Dear Danny,

Thank you very much for providing the sound system for the recent garden tour, Bainbridge in Bloom.  I appreciated your willingness to accept the job and your ability to work within the constraints of the setting.

Your service and professionalism were great and is was good to know that I had one less thing to worry about.  Everything worked fine: the sound was good, the volume just right… DEF Productions helped make the presentation go off without a hitch.

Again, thank you Danny for providing such a fine service to the garden tour.  I appreciated everything you did.

Sincerely,

Viking Fest Header

24 May 2005

P.O. Box 2133

Mr. Danny Fritts:
The members of the Board of Directors of the Viking Fest Corporation wish to thank you for your outstanding service during the Viking Fest held from 20-22 May, 2005.  We could not be more pleased with the professionalism with which you provided your sound reinforcement/amplification services to the various groups that entertained during the festival and the two reviewing stands that were used during the parade.  All of the musicians mentioned how easy it was to work with you in setting up the microphones for the vocalists and band’s instruments, conducting the sound checks, and in cuing the music that the dancers used during their performances.  You were committed to providing the best venue for the entertainers and we found it very easy to communicate our desires to you.
You took the initiative to cope with the inclement weather by creating a windbreak at the back of the Kvelstad Pavilion, which protected your equipment, and also shielded the performers from the wind and rain.  You volunteered to take the initiative to obtain heavy gauge clear vinyl for a windbreak to provide even better protection while not blocking the superb view of the Liberty Bay, should it be needed for next year’s festival.
You were on station early on each of the three days, ensuring that all was ready when the first group to entertain arrived.  Your equipment is professional grade, enabling the performances by the musicians and the music for the dancers to be clearly heard, without distortion, by all in the audience.
We thank you for you exceptional services and look forward to working with you long into the future for all of our events.  You may use this correspondence as a letter of recommendation if you so choose.  I would be pleased to vouch for your expertise and professionalism should any performance coordinators request references.

National Day of Prayer Header

July 11, 2005

Danny Fritts
P.O. Box 2133
Poulsbo, WA 98370

Dear Danny,

The 54th Annual National Day of Prayer Service was an outstanding opportunity for Kitsap County to come together in unity to pray for our community, state nation and world as well as worship our Lord.  1047 people attended representing through over 35 churches.  200 volunteers from within our county gave of their time and talents to make this event a gigantic success.  The overwhelming endorsement of pastors and the encouragement given to their people was instrumental in the significant numbers that attended.  The event allowed for diversity yet brought unity to the Body of Christ and glory to God.

The NDP would not have been the same without the knowledge and expertise that you displayed in your field of service.  Only an expert could have covered up for faulty equipment the way that you did.  Please accept our deepest thanks and appreciation for being so generous with your time, treasure and talents!  The NDP Service was greatly enhanced by your efforts to amplify the sound of so many.  You were a treasure to work with and a blessing to get to know.

The past two years has been extraordinary as our community has combined its resources to give the NDP a place in our county’s history.  More volunteers and lay people than ever before came together as a team to serve this community through the NDP.  More technical expertise than ever before gave of their service.  More unified worship than ever before came together to compliment the prayers we made on behalf of our community, state, nation and world.  More people than ever before gathered together on May 5th to celebrate our right to assemble and pray.  Our team looks forward to serving with you in an even greater capacity in the coming year.  If you would like to be part of the NDP May 4th, 2006 please call Abundant Life Foursquare Church.

Dear Mr. Fritts,

Thank you for donating your time and sound system to the 2005 YWCA Charity Putt-Putt event.  We were able to raise over three thousand dollars for the Alive Shelter program and you played an important part to that success.

This has been the fourth year we have conducted this event for charity.  In previous years we have borrowed sound systems from others, which we had to set up and operate ourselves.  It was a real treat having your professional services create a fun atmosphere for all who participated.

I look forward to using your services in the future and would highly recommend/refer anyone in need of a temporary sound system for any event.
